Software: Discovering Possibilities Through Technology
Through my previous professional roles in Software Development and QA Testing, I have gained experience on both sides of building reliable products, creating features and thoroughly checking that they work as intended.
Here I showcase my self-made projects, including links to demos and my thought process during development. These personal projects give me a chance to improve my current skills and develop new ones, as well as explore ideas that I'm interested in:
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
FlowDesk: Business Automation
FlowDesk is a Python web app that helps business that deal with products and/or services to manage orders, fulfillment, payments, and expenses in one place. A simulated order email can be created, reviewed in a local inbox, and imported into the order tracker. The dashboard highlights open and overdue work, orders awaiting payment, and expenses that need review.
This system utilises Python and Streamlit for the interactive application, SQLite for local data storage, Pandas for searchable, filterable tables, and custom CSS for the interface’s light and dark themes. Order categorisation uses editable keyword-based rules.

Pokendium Portfolio
Pokendium is a Pokemon Card portfolio web application made using ASP.NET MVC inside Visual Studio. It allows for users to create accounts/sign in to create and manage their current card collection, granting users options such as searching for cards, adding cards to their collection, and managing card quantities.
This system utilises ASP.NET Core MVC with C# for application logic, HTML and CSS for the user interface, Entity Framework Core for database access, and SQL for persistent data storage. JSON is used for structured data and configuration where appropriate.

03 / LEARNING AND STUDIES
Economics: The Study of How the World Works

Money and the way it shapes the world has been an interest of mine since my teenage years. Studying economics has given me another lens through which to understand the systems we live in and the choices that people make when they are influenced by money.
I’m especially interested in how people think and act when money is involved, such as what motivates their decisions, how incentives shape behaviour and how those choices add up to wider economic effects. I enjoy looking at both the small, everyday decisions studied in microeconomics and the bigger forces explored in macroeconomics.
I’m also drawn to the meeting point of business, technology, and human behaviour. It’s a place where ideas about money become tangible through the products people use, the companies they build and the ways our lives keep changing.
04 / JAPAN & TRAVEL
Travel: A Drastic Change of View

I spent most of my childhood growing up in a village of around 4,000 people. At the time, my entire life centred around that place, not thinking about how much more there was past it. When I was 14, we moved out and went to live in the small city of Doncaster in South Yorkshire. Although it isn’t a big place, that change was the point where I realised that my world had been completely shaped by the small part of it I knew, and how easily that view could feel complete, even when it wasn’t.
I became more curious as to what else is beyond even this small city. Things changed in steps: I first moved to the slightly larger city of Sheffield, then began to explore places throughout Europe on my own. Eventually, I made the decision to go even further and I moved across the world to Tokyo.
The change from where I was to where I am now was drastic. Beforehand, everything felt close-knit and easy to understand, then all of a sudden I was surrounded by a scale, pace and way of life that I could never have even conceptualised before. Navigating that difference was difficult, but I truly believe that it was one of the best decisions of my life.
I now have a vastly different view on the world, making me more open to seeing things from different perspectives and becoming more comfortable being uncomfortable. It has made me want to continue with discovering different ways of life and seeing what else the world has to offer.
05 / INTERESTS
Beyond Work: Outside of Productivity
Outside of work, I keep a diverse list of hobbies and interests. From things that give me real world benefits, like weightlifting and language learning, things that help to switch off and recover, such as video games and Pokemon cards, to blowing off some steam through attending gigs. All very different, yet work together to create my character and who I am as a person.

06 / LETS TALK
